How do ordinary presser feet attach?

With power off, place the ordinary foot below its holder and lower the holder until its opening is above the foot pin; the foot engages automatically. To remove it, raise the foot with the presser-foot lifter and press the holder release lever.
This is the source-named attachment procedure. It does not establish a standardized shank class, universal foot fit, or adapter compatibility.
Route the thread through the bobbin guide and clockwise around the tension discs, thread the bobbin, move its spindle right, wind to the automatic stop, then move the spindle left and remove the bobbin.
