How does the ordinary overlock foot attach?

Native snap-on feet. With power off and unplugged, raise the presser foot, turn the handwheel toward you until the needles are at their highest position, then press the white release button on the back of the presser-foot bar to remove the foot. Place the replacement foot pin directly under the ankle groove, lower the presser foot, and press the button so the foot snaps into place.
This proves only the documented foot-to-ankle pin/groove procedure; low-shank naming and optional or third-party foot fit remain unknown.
Start from the factory normal-condition pressure; turn the adjustment tool counter-clockwise for less pressure or clockwise for more, and always test on a sample before the garment.
Adjustment is only recommended when the fabric result requires it; the manual does not prescribe one universal pressure setting.
Turn power off and unplug, raise the needles fully, insert the left and/or right needle as far as it will go with the flat surface to the back, then securely tighten the corresponding clamp screw.
Use one or two needles as required by the selected stitch; preserve the exact manual's needle-system requirement.
Use N for normal fabric, move between N and 2.0 for stretch fabrics, or between 0.7 and N for lightweight fabrics, then test-sew for the material and desired result.
