Native snap-on feet. Switch the machine off, raise the foot, turn the handwheel toward you until the needles are highest, press the rear ankle button to release the foot, place the new foot pin directly under the ankle groove, lower the foot and press the rear button so the foot snaps into place.
This establishes attachment geometry only; it does not prove that any optional foot, part number, standardized shank, adapter or third-party foot fits.
Use setting 3 under normal conditions. Decrease pressure in small increments for lightweight fabric and increase it for heavyweight fabric, then test on a sample before the project.
The manual gives adjustment direction, not one universal adjusted setting.
Turn off and unplug the machine, raise the needles fully, loosen but do not remove the selected clamp screw while holding the needle, remove it, insert the replacement fully with its flat side to the back and securely tighten the screw.
Do not overtighten; one or two needles depends on the stitch, and the left needle sits higher than the right rather than forming a level twin needle.
